Consign With Luxury Resale Concierge: The Smarter Way to Sell Your Designer Pieces
Share
The Designer Pieces Sitting in Your Wardrobe Are Worth More Than You Think
Most people underestimate what their designer pieces are worth on the secondary market. A Hermès bag purchased five years ago has likely appreciated in value since you bought it, not depreciated. A Chanel Flap bought at 2019 retail pricing would cost more than double that to replace today. A preloved Louis Vuitton in good condition is in active, consistent demand from buyers who want the piece right now and are prepared to pay for it.
The question is not whether your pieces have value. It is whether you are capturing that value or leaving it sitting in a dust bag.
At Luxury Resale Concierge, we handle the entire process of selling your designer bags, clothing, shoes, and accessories on your behalf. You do not need to photograph anything, negotiate with buyers, or navigate the friction of peer-to-peer selling platforms. You send us the pieces. We do everything else. And we are open to all brands, depending on condition.

What We Accept
We are open to all luxury and designer brands, across bags, clothing, shoes, and accessories, provided the condition meets the standard our buyers expect. The brands with the strongest and most consistent demand through Luxury Resale Concierge include:
Bags: Hermès, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Prada, Dior, Saint Laurent, Loewe, Celine, Fendi, Balenciaga, Burberry, Mulberry, Givenchy, and more.
Clothing: Zimmermann, Self Portrait, Max Mara, Stella McCartney, Marni, Missoni, Diane von Furstenberg, Faithfull The Brand, Loro Piana, Jil Sander, Isabel Marant, and contemporary designer labels in excellent condition.
Shoes: Gianvito Rossi, Malone Souliers, Miu Miu, Jimmy Choo, Manolo Blahnik, Christian Louboutin, and equivalent quality.
Accessories: Scarves, belts, jewellery, sunglasses, and small leather goods from luxury houses.
If you are unsure whether your piece meets our standard, send us photographs. We will tell you honestly whether it is something we can sell and at what price range.

Why Selling Through a Specialist Makes More Financial Sense
There are several ways to sell a designer piece in the UK. Understanding the differences is important before you choose.
Peer-to-peer platforms like Vestiaire Collective, eBay, and Depop put the entire burden on the seller. You photograph the piece, write the description, set the price, answer buyer questions, negotiate, pack, and post. The platforms charge commission on the final sale, typically between 12 and 25 percent, and there is no guarantee of how quickly or at what price a piece sells. You are also listed alongside tens of thousands of competing items, which means the lowest price typically wins.
Auction houses work well for very rare or high-value exotic pieces, but timelines are dictated by auction schedules rather than buyer demand, and commission structures can significantly reduce your proceeds.
Instant buy-out services offer a fast transaction but at a price that reflects the reseller's margin rather than the true market value of your piece. You receive your money quickly, but you give up a meaningful portion of what the piece is actually worth.
Consignment through a specialist gives you the best of both worlds. We take your piece, present it to a qualified buyer base, manage the entire transaction, and pass on the proceeds to you. The commission reflects the work we do on your behalf, and the outcome, a faster sale at an accurate market price, almost always delivers a better net result than any alternative.
At Luxury Resale Concierge, we are not a marketplace and we are not a buy-out service. We are a specialist reseller with an active, authenticated bags collection, a motivated buyer base, and an in-house authentication process that gives buyers the confidence to act quickly. Fast sales at accurate prices are better for everyone.

How the Luxury Resale Concierge Consignment Process Works
The process starts with photographs and ends with a payout. Everything in between is handled by us.
Step one: Send us photographs. Front, back, base, interior, hardware, any visible wear, and the serial or authenticity card if available. Send these to info@luxuryresaleconcierge.com or via WhatsApp on 07776 873 158.
Step two: Receive your estimate. We come back to you within 24 hours with an honest estimated resale range based on current secondary market data for that specific style, condition, leather, and hardware. No obligation at this stage.
Step three: We collect or you send. If the estimate works for you, we arrange secure collection or you send the piece to us directly. We cover all the logistics.
Step four: Authentication and listing. Our team authenticates every piece in-house before it goes live. We photograph it in full, write a detailed and accurate description with condition notes, and list it at a price that reflects genuine current market value, not optimistic guesswork.
Step five: Sale and payout. We manage all buyer enquiries, negotiate where appropriate, and handle the full transaction. Once the sale completes, you receive your payout promptly. No chasing, no uncertainty, no marketplace drama.
We can also assist with home clearouts and wardrobe organisation if you have a larger collection to work through. We bring the same care and discretion to a wardrobe edit as we do to a single bag.

What Affects the Price You Will Receive
Condition is the single most important factor. A piece in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear will always achieve a meaningfully better price than the same piece with visible scuffs, worn hardware, or interior damage. This is true across all brands and all price points.
Original accessories make a significant difference, particularly for Hermès. A bag with its original dust bag, box, lock, keys, and authenticity card is a complete set, and buyers pay a premium for completeness. For Chanel, the authenticity card and original dust bag both add value. For Louis Vuitton, the original dust bag and receipt help. The more complete the set, the stronger the outcome.
Colour and leather matter enormously for Hermès specifically. Seasonal and limited edition colours command premiums over neutrals in many cases. Exotic leathers always command premiums over standard calfskin. Hardware finish, gold versus palladium versus ruthenium, also affects price, with gold hardware consistently performing strongest across most styles.
Timing has an effect too. Hermès raises retail prices every January, and that increase flows into secondary market values in the months that follow. Selling in the first half of the year following a price increase typically produces stronger results than selling immediately before one.
Market demand for specific styles fluctuates. The Constance is exceptionally strong right now. The Birkin and Kelly are always in demand. Vintage pieces in good condition are appreciating. We track all of this and price accordingly.

The Brands That Sell Fastest Through Luxury Resale Concierge

Hermès is the brand with the most motivated and consistent buyer demand through our platform. The Constance achieves 137 percent value retention on the resale market on average, selling for 37 percent above its original retail price. The Picotin, the Kelly, and the Birkin all follow a consistent pattern of strong secondary market performance. If you own a Hermès piece, there is a buyer actively looking for it.
Chanel is the most consistently searched preloved luxury brand in the UK. Chanel remains one of the strongest performing luxury brands in both retail and resale markets. Vintage pieces from the 1990s and early 2000s are particularly sought-after, as are the Classic Flap in all sizes and the Camera Bag. The price rises at Chanel retail over the past five years have pushed strong demand onto the secondary market.
Louis Vuitton has the highest search volume of any luxury brand on UK resale platforms. Louis Vuitton continues to dominate luxury resale and its enduring appeal makes it consistently in demand. Monogram canvas pieces in good condition sell quickly and reliably. Vintage LV from the 1980s and 1990s with natural vachetta patina is increasingly collectible.
Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Prada, Dior, Saint Laurent, Loewe, and Celine all have active buyer bases through our platform. For Bottega, archival intrecciato pieces and the current Cassette and Jodie formats both move well. For Prada, the Re-Edition and Galleria are the most searched styles. For Dior, the Book Tote and Saddle are consistently sought-after.
Designer clothing from Zimmermann, Max Mara, Self Portrait, Stella McCartney, Marni, and equivalent houses also sells well through our platform, particularly in season and in excellent condition.
