This authentic preloved Christian Dior Large Book Tote in blue Toile de Jouy Palms embroidered canvas is one of the most coveted and collectible iterations of Dior's iconic Book Tote design. Part of the Dioriviera capsule collection, this is a second hand Dior Book Tote in as new condition — presented in a striking celestial blue palette with the CHRISTIAN DIOR Paris signature across the front, serial number 50-MA-0217 confirmed, complete with the original Dior dust bag and authenticity card.

About This Bag

Part of the Dioriviera capsule, the Dior Book Tote is an original creation introduced by Christian Dior's Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri. Fully embroidered with Pietro Ruffo's celestial blue Toile de Jouy Palms motif, it captures the beauty of nature with a vibrant jungle scene populated by diverse wildlife. The result is a bag that is as much an artwork as it is an accessory — every panel richly detailed with towering palms, tropical foliage and botanical scenes rendered in a palette of celestial blue, navy and ivory.

The large Book Tote format is constructed from embroidered canvas throughout, with matching canvas rolled handles stamped with Christian Dior in gold lettering. The sides and base are fully embroidered in the same Palms motif in a contrasting blue-ground colourway, giving this version a particularly immersive, all-over botanical quality. The large size can accommodate a 15-inch laptop, a pouch, a wallet, a phone, a card holder, sunglasses and lipstick. The interior is lined in the matching Toile de Jouy canvas with a Christian Dior Paris woven border. Made in Italy is confirmed on the interior label.

As new preloved condition. The embroidered canvas body is clean and vibrant throughout with no marks, pulls or fading. The canvas handles retain their structure and the gold Christian Dior lettering is crisp. The interior lining is clean and unmarked.

The embroidery placement and Christian Dior Paris lettering on the handles were checked against genuine Book Tote examples, alongside the serial number 50-MA-0217 and the Made in Italy interior label.

Every piece is hand-inspected, measured, and photographed in detail, and listed with full condition notes, so that what you see is exactly what you receive. We always rather you buy with confidence the first time than return an item you weren't sure about.

Because of this, we ask customers to read listings thoroughly, check measurements against their own bags or shoes, and get in touch with any questions before ordering. Our team is genuinely happy to send extra photos, videos, or measurements on request.

Returns

Returns are accepted within 7 days of you receiving the order, however the return postage cost is covered by the sender. All returns need to be sent Guaranteed Next Day Delivery and need to be insured to the full value of the item.

To start a return, please contact us at info@luxuryresaleconcierge.com, and our team will issue a returns authorisation number, which must be included with your shipment. Please send the tracking info back to us via email.

Please note that all Hermes items are final sale. No returns will be accepted.

Condition on Return

As these are preloved, often rare and irreplaceable pieces belonging to our consignors, items must be returned exactly as sent: unworn beyond trying it on, with all original packaging, dust bags, authentication cards, and tags intact. We understand you'll want to check the item is right for you, but please treat it as you would trying on in a shop.

If an item is returned showing signs of wear, use, or alteration beyond this, we reserve the right to deduct an amount reflecting the reduction in value from your refund, or, in cases of significant damage, decline the return. This protects both our consignors and the integrity of every piece we sell.

Return shipping

Return postage is the responsibility of the customer. As mentioned above, all returns need to be sent guaranteed next day delivery, and need to be insured to their full value. Liability remains with the sender until such time we have received and inspected the return.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we aim to process refunds within 24 hours.

If an item is received back WITHIN the 7 day window after receiving your delivery you will receive a refund to your original payment method. If the item arrives back AFTER the 7 day window, a store credit will be issued for the item value.

A note on considered buying

Because we work closely with our consignors and many pieces are one-of-a-kind, high return volumes affect real people, not just us. This also has an environmental impact, which the world of preloved tries to avoid.
